Based on your feedback, we're excited to announce updated plans to make Strapi Cloud pricing simpler and more flexible.
In this post, you’ll learn why we updated our pricing and what’s changing.
Our mission is simple: Empower millions of people to create and share content anywhere. To do that, we want to ensure Strapi Cloud is accessible and cost-effective for everyone, from solo developers to enterprise teams. We’ve heard your feedback—bundling CMS features with hosting was confusing, and pricing needed to be clearer. This update simplifies the decision-making process, so you can simply choose a CMS plan and then decide on hosting.
As your projects scale, your infrastructure should scale with you—without unexpected costs. The new pricing structure ensures predictable pricing at every stage of your growth. You now choose exactly what you need. Pick your CMS plan, then add hosting if you need it. By separating CMS features from hosting, we’ve been able to lower prices across all plans, provide larger asset storage, and offer unlimited databases and emails (subject to fair use policy).
We’ve simplified our pricing tiers to make Strapi Cloud more flexible and affordable:

Getting started with Strapi Cloud is now simpler than ever. Just choose your CMS plan to fit your project, then select the Cloud hosting plan that meets your deployment needs. No more second-guessing what's included.
If you're an existing customer, your current plan remains unchanged unless you decide to switch. If you choose to migrate, you’ll gain access to lower pricing and improved storage limits, but you may lose access to some CMS features. To retain those features, you would need to purchase a Growth license. If you're an existing customer, your current plan remains unchanged unless you decide to switch. For agencies, the new pricing structure makes collaboration easier with clearer costs and predictable billing. You also get more control over features and resources, so you only pay for what your projects require.
We put a lot of thought into these pricing updates, and we hope they make choosing the right plan for your project easier while ensuring you get the best possible value. We aim to strike the right balance—offering stability while making thoughtful improvements based on your feedback. If you have thoughts, suggestions, or questions about these updates, we’d love to hear from you.
In the meantime, check out the new pricing and let us know how these changes impact your projects.
